Atelier Valenti — Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with Atelier Valenti. We stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.

Our return window lasts 90 days from the date of delivery. If 90 days have passed since your item was delivered, we unfortunately can't offer a refund or exchange.

1. How Returns Work

Because we work with international manufacturing partners, in most cases you do not need to ship your item back to us to receive your refund.

Here's how it works: submit your request within 90 days of delivery, and we'll ask you for a few clear photos of the item (and, where relevant, the issue you're reporting). We review each request individually, and once it's approved, we process your refund directly — free of charge — with nothing to ship back.

In some cases we may ask you to return the item before issuing a refund. If we do, we'll give you clear instructions; don't ship anything back to us without contacting us first.

2. Eligibility

To request a return or refund, make sure that:

  • Your request is submitted within 90 days of the delivery date.
  • You have your order number or proof of purchase (automatically tied to your account or order confirmation email).
  • You can provide clear photos of the item if we request them (see Section 1).

We review every request individually. We reserve the right to decline a refund where the item shows signs of significant use, intentional damage, or misuse beyond what's needed to evaluate the product, or where we have reasonable grounds to believe a request is fraudulent or abusive (for example, repeated refund requests across multiple orders). Approval is at our reasonable discretion, and our decision on each request is final.

3. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items

The following are excluded from this policy:

  • Gift cards.
  • Items explicitly marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase.
  • Requests submitted more than 90 days after the delivery date.

4. Defective or Damaged Items

If your item arrives defective or damaged, contact us within 90 days of delivery at contact@ateliervalenti.com with a few photos of the issue. We'll offer you a full refund or a free replacement, whichever you prefer. Because our products ship internationally, a replacement may take longer to arrive than your original order — if you'd rather have a fast resolution, a refund is usually the quicker option.

5. Refund Processing

Once your return request is approved, we issue your refund to your original payment method. Refunds are typically processed within 3–5 business days on our end; your bank or card provider may take a few additional business days to display the credit on your statement.

6. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund yet:

  1. Check your bank or card account again — processing times vary by provider.
  2. Contact your credit card company; it can take some time before a refund is officially posted.
  3. Contact your bank directly, as there's often additional processing time on their end.

7. Sale Items & Discount Codes

Items purchased during a sale or with a discount code carry the same 90-day return rights as regular-priced items. Items marked "Final Sale" cannot be returned or refunded.

8. Order Cancellations

Changed your mind before your order ships? You can request a cancellation at any time before your order is processed, free of charge. Once your order has been processed for shipment, the standard 90-day return policy above applies instead.
